Van zak en as naar zonneschijn!
Als je vlak voor een optreden telefoon krijgt van je broer met het bericht dat je moeder zeer kritiek in het ziekenhuis ligt ivm zware problemen met haar hart. Heb je het idee dat alles uit je handen glijdt en wil je maar een ding en dat is zo snel mogelijk naar haar toe. We hebben de shows in Nieuwveen en Augustinusga moeten cancelen… De maandag in het ziekenhuis kregen we het bericht dat m’n moeder misschien de volgende dag niet zou halen. Ik heb nog nooit zoveel gebeden als die dagen. De volgende dag liepen we met lood in de schoenen naar de IC en daar gaf ze op haar 45 jarige trouwdag ons en m’n vader het mooiste trouw cadeau wat we konden wensen. Ze had gereageerd op een pijnprikkel en dus een teken van leven. Vanaf die dag is ze met grote stappen vooruit gegaan en inmiddels ligt ze op de verpleegafdeling van het MCL en gaat het heel goed met haar. Dit is in mijn beleving een Gods wonder en ik ben ontzettend dankbaar. Ik wil via deze weg iedereen bedanken voor de vele lieve oprechte berichten, ik had hier heel veel steun aan! Ook de organisatie van Nieuwveen en Augustinusga bedanken we voor het meeleven en het sportieve oppakken. We zullen er alles aan doen om deze shows alsnog in te mogen halen!
Afgelopen weekend was het dan ook een totale ontlading in Lippenhuizen en Bakkeveen. Hier hebben we erg genoten en waren het voor mij in ieder geval twee onvergetelijke shows. We hopen jullie snel weer te begroeten om wederom een hele vette show neer te zetten! Zaterdag 12 juni a.s. zullen we een hele vette show geven in Goutum, voor meer info check je onze agenda!
